Let’s embark on an epicurean adventure with Cura Culinary as we journey to the Italian region of Liguria. Nestled between the Ligurian Sea and the majestic Alps, Liguria is renowned for its extraordinary cuisine. Our voyage begins with a delightful appetizer: Sciacarotti o Fazzegni, a pillowy focaccia soaked in a savory fresh tomato sauce. The flavors dance on your palate awakening your taste buds. For the hands-on portion of our class, Chef Garyn will be our guide. Together we’ll craft Trofie al Pesto from scratch. Trofie, those tiny twisted noodles, are rolled by hand with care. Their tender texture harmonizes beautifully with the rich and savory pesto made from fresh basil. This dish is a symphony of flavors. And what could elevate this experience further? A perfect wine pairing, of course! Mia has selected a Vermentino Wine, akin to a Sauvignon Blanc. Light-bodied yet complex, it complements our Trofie al Pesto exquisitely.
