Come and join us for a special Low Country Feast! We’re thrilled to welcome Debbie for her inaugural class at HKS, where she’ll share some of her cherished southern dishes. Kick off the evening with Low Country Pickled Shrimp- this bright and fresh appetizer, straight from the heart of South Carolina, will awaken your taste buds and set the tone for a flavorful feast. Get ready for a hands-on experience as Debbie guides you through creating Quick and Easy Low Country Seafood boil. It’s all the flavor of a classic seafood boil without the messy cleanup. For dessert, guests will prepare Sister Schubert’s Bread Pudding. You’ll take it home to bake, ensuring the flavor party continues long after the feast. Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.

MEET THE CHEF:

Debbie Arnold 

I believe cooking is an art form. Most days I’m Norman Rockwell. Sometimes I’m Picasso. I definitely have my Salvador Dali moments. Actually, there are lots of paint-by-number days. For several years, I used those cooking skills as a featured contributor on KTHV Channel 11 in Little Rock. Writing and speaking about Arkansas companies, producers and farmers is a passion I share through free-lance writing and my blog, diningwithdebbie.net.  It’s been my privilege to have served as a Brand Ambassador  and semi-professional chef for several Arkansas companies including: Riceland Foods, Petit Jean Meats, Arkansas Soybean Board, Grass Roots Farmers, Great Day Farms and Walmart. Arkansas has always been my home. I choose to be here. I’m proud to be from here. My husband, Circuit Judge (ret.) Gary Arnold, and I moved to our home on Beaver Lake in the summer of 2023, although we have owned that location for many years.
