Join us for an engaging Italian cooking experience with Chef Patrick Lane. Italian cuisine strikes a harmonious balance between carbs, proteins and fresh produce; and this class is no exception. You’ll delve into a world of vibrant flavors and elegant dishes. Begin the evening with a flavorful Tapenade Crostini as Chef Patrick shares insights from his time in Italy. Then roll up your sleeves and prepare a refreshing salad featuring rucola, fresh herbs, and savory parmesan. And of course an Italian class would not be complete without pasta; you'll also master the art of gnocchi with a Spinach Ricotta Gnocchi dish paired with creamy gorgonzola and spring vegetables. Embrace the Dolce Vita!  Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.

MEET THE CHEF:

Patrick Lane was born and raised in the Ozarks, where he started his culinary career nearly 25 years ago. He has gone on to work in a wide variety of hospitality businesses from fine dining restaurants to grocery markets as well as recipe development and testing across the country. Ever curious, Lane is consistently traveling and exploring food and cooking techniques around the globe, in places like Italy, Mexico, Japan, Morocco, England, Costa Rica, etc. He has a deep appreciation of food and cooking techniques and understanding the places and communities where food comes from. Currently, in a post-Covid landscape, Lane is working to reimagine what it means to be a chef by exploring, finding balance, and seeking ways to meaningfully engage with his community through food.
