Upgrade your baking game with help from Daneen in this class all about scones! Learn essential baking skills and master the perfect recipes for making sweet and savory scones. Participants will follow instruction in the hands on portion to create Sweet Cranberry Walnut Maple Scones. Then Daneen will teach how to make a savory scone- Bacon & Gruyere Scones. Learn how to mix the dough just right for the perfect flakiness. Guests will also enjoy Pepper Jelly over Cream Cheese with crackers to munch on during class. Then finish with a mug of Daneen's Special Stovetop Chai Tea to sip as you enjoy your scone creations. Recipes will be provided.

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR
"You never know what God has planned for you," is something that Daneen Parish will tell you. After owning, managing, and cooking in The Crumpet Tea Room & Restaurant for 18 years, life changed and she is now the manager and owner of Purple Passion Farm. Daneen took her love for food in a different direction and now experiences great joy from growing and raising food as well as preparing and cooking it. She still has a loyal customer base of orange roll lovers and continues to bake out of her home kitchen for those wanting the scrumptious orange rolls. At the Purple Passion Farm, she grows a variety of fruits and vegetables, particularly varieties that are purple! Daneen also has seasonal offerings out of the garden, fresh free range chicken & duck eggs and rabbits. If baking orange rolls and producing on the farm was not enough to keep her busy, Daneen also teaches classes on tea, cooking/baking, canning, gardening, raising rabbits and other homesteading topics.
