Brighten the mood of the blistering cold and grace your family's table with the tasty foods of winter. Join us in the HKS Kitchen for this beautiful and scrumptious winter white class featuring recipes that are light, bright, and delightful on your table.  Home chef Helen Lampkin will begin class with a warm and creamy artichoke spread paired with a crisp and refreshing white wine spritzer.  Each participant will follow along hands-on as she instructs how to make  a lively Grapefruit Citrus Salad dressed with a white balsamic vinaigrette.  And it’s definitely the time of year to try your hand at creating a satisfying Yukon Gold Potato & Parsnip Soup garnished with matchsticks of Asian pear.  Then to finish off the class enjoy Poached Pear with White Chocolate Ganache. What’s not to love! Recipes will be provided.

MEET THE CHEF:

Helen Lampkin, woman of faith, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, lives an inspired “no ordinary” life based on the words found in Colossians 3:23 – “do all things wholeheartedly to the Lord.” This inspiration is at the heart of all she does and has led her to become an entrepreneur (founder of My Brother’s Salsa), artist, adventurous cook, recipe developer/writer, food stylist, and blogger.  You can follow Helen on instagram @helenstable
