Join HKS for our first ever Southwestern Cooking class featuring the Hatch green chiles from New Mexico!  Hatch green chiles bring an unmatched flame-roasted flavor to just about everything they touch.  Helen Lampkin, founder of My Brother's Salsa and Helen's Table, will discuss the history of green chiles, the different varieties, and their importance in Southwestern cuisine. She will then teach you how to roast them and freeze for later use.  This class will feature several Southwest inspired recipes like green chile pimento cheese, Southwest inspired stews, and even Hatch green chile biscuits!  Participants will enjoy each dish and recipes will be provided.
