It's cold outside and what other food is equally good savory as it is sweet? Well, pie of course! Please help us welcome Helen Lampkin of My Brother's Salsa and Helen's Table back into our HKS kitchen to teach all there is to now about pie, crusts, filling, savory & sweet flavors, and flakiness. It's all about the flakiness. In the hands on portion of this class, Helen will show you how to make the perfect pie crust. She will discuss her favorite tips and tricks so that you can get the thickness, flakiness, and texture just right no matter what pie you are making. Each person will get to take home their prepared pie crust. All recipes will be provided and cookbooks and tips will be recommended for you to take home with you. You will be ready this holiday season whether you have to bring the entree or dessert...the answer is pie!
