It's the end of the summer and farmers markets will soon have less produce. Your garden (if you have one) is about to be set for fall veggies. What will you do without your delicious tomatoes, okra, squash, and berries! Please join us along with Haley O'Brien to learn all the basics in food preserving so you can be happy all winter long. She will discuss different preserving techniques and the tools needed. Haley will also demo several different preservation methods so you can learn first hand. In this class each participant will get to preserve something of their own to take home. All canning materials and recipes will be provided.
