Egg pies - every culture has their version and home chef Helen Lampkin will take you on a little tour of some of her favorite egg pies and dishes that grace her table. Guests will be welcomed with a fried deviled egg, a fun spin on the delicious deviled egg where creaminess and crunch make the best egg bite ever. In the hands on portion of the class, Helen will take you through the techniques of creating a Chicken & Green Chile Tart, a Southwest twist on the classic French tart! Participants will also learn to make a classic egg and potato pie from Spain known as the Spanish Tortilla. With Easter celebrations just around the corner, this class will help prepare you for some EGG-straordinary recipes to elevate your Easter brunch. Recipes will be provided.

MEET THE CHEF:
Helen Lampkin, woman of faith, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, lives an inspired “no ordinary” life based on the words found in Colossians 3:23 – “do all things wholeheartedly to the Lord.” This inspiration is at the heart of all she does and has led her to become an entrepreneur (founder of My Brother’s Salsa), artist, adventurous cook, recipe developer/writer, food stylist, and blogger.
