Baby it's cold outside and the perfect time to up your chili game! Join us at HKS along with Chef Brent Hale of Big Sexy Food for a hands-on class focused on two different delicious and unique chili recipes. Chef Brent loves a classic twist and will teach participants his Texas Shiner Bock Chili. He will discuss meats and beans that go best as well as the perfect spices to get your chili just right. Then hold on to your hats because he will also teach you how to create a Chicken Chili Verde with green chili peppers. A delightful and slightly healthier winter chili option everyone will enjoy. Recipes will be provided.

Masks are encouraged but not required during our classes. Please be advised in our new HKS kitchen, you may be working in small groups in a hands-on experience.
MEET THE CHEF:
Chef Brent Hale started cooking when he was just a young boy when he learned to make popcorn balls and biscuit dough mini pizzas. As he grew so did his love of food and desire to make a name for himself. Chef Brent attended culinary school in Arlington, Texas at a local community college. After graduating he worked as a personal chef. It was during this time he began his first culinary business, “Dining By Design” a small catering company. He moved to Northwest Arkansas in 2008 and founded BIG sexy Food in January of 2016 specializing in high end, in-home dining. BIG sexy Food expanded into the food truck business and now have three trucks across Northwest Arkansas. Chef Brent was a recent winner of Guys Grocery Games on the Food Network, “Friend or Foe” episode and returned back for the “Supermarket Rematches” episode.
You can now find Chef Brent at his brick-and-mortar Big Sexy Food restaurant that he opened in 2020 located in Springdale.
