When it comes to cooking and baking with liquor, bubbles is one of our favorites! Grab your best pal and enjoy an evening with us in the HKS Kitchen to celebrate Galentine's as we incorporate a little bubbly into some delicious dishes. Heather will teach you several dishes featuring different types of champagne and prosecco in this new series Beyond on the Bar Cart. Participants will enjoy Champagne Butter Poached Shrimp Crostini upon arrival to get those tasted buds going! Then jump right into some hands on action as she shows you to make Chicken au Champagne from scratch. Heather will also show you how to incorporate bubbles into your baking as she instructs you how to make champagne donuts, one of her favorites. Finish class with a decadent bite of Champagne Truffles. Recipes will be provided.

MEET THE CHEF:
One of Heather Artripe's first memories of being a child is dragging a chair across her Granny's kitchen floor to stand on so she could help her cook. 10 years ago Heather started teaching cooking classes at Ozark Natural Foods and never looked back! She started to become obsessed with cooking and creating, focusing on honest, real, flavorful-all-on-it's-own food and local ingredients when at all possible. When she is not cooking for fun, teaching cooking classes, or shooting Rooted in the Ozarks, you can find her in my her own little urban homestead growing veggies, fruits, and herbs, canning and pickling, hanging out with her pack of animals, thinking of recipes, talking about recipes, etc. She loves cooking and loves food. And most of all, she loves creating it.
