Indulge in Chef Michelle's inaugural HKS kitchen class! Discover the art of crafting stunningly delicious spring tarts from scratch in this hands on class. Begin by mastering the ideal tart crust and creating a velvety lemon custard. Michelle will also show you how to create a glaze for your fruit topping and show you multiple ways to decorate these delicate desserts. To quench your thirst, make a batch of lavender simple syrup to whip up a Lavender Lemonade Martini (for those 21+) Cheers!  Light snacks will be served. Recipes included. Tickets are priced per person.

MEET THE BAKER

Michelle Arnone is the baker behind Rise Bakery. She always loved watching her grandmother bake when she was little and continued to enjoy baking for her 2 kids when they were growing up. Once the kids left home, she wanted to expand her knowledge and creativity. With the support of her husband and family she decided to attend NWACC’s culinary program through Brightwater Culinary School and graduated with an Associate Degree of Applied Science Food Studies specializing in Baking and Pastry Arts in May of 2020. Along the way she decided to start a home-based bakery in March of 2019. She loves making all kinds of goodies but most of her business is custom cakes and cupcakes. She loves creating one-of-a-kind creations for her customers. Seeing the joy on their faces brings her happiness. She also loves baking with and for her 2 grandchildren.
