Get ready for Mardi Gras by joining us along with Maudie Schmitt of Cafe Rue Orleans for an educational evening on some classic Cajun dishes. Maudie will take us step-by-step through creating the perfect Cajun-style gumbo. Her secret? "It's all in the roux!" she says. Find out how she creates this delicious dish that has been warming the bellies of her restaurant patrons for years. She will be discussing Cajun food and seasoning so that you can go back to your kitchen and recreate your own gumbo dish. Then finish the evening with another one of Maudie's specialties....Bananas Foster! You'll leave ready to conquer any Fat Tuesday celebration. Tickets are $50/person
