Southern Summer Recipes

Honeycomb Kitchen Shop, 213 W Walnut St, Rogers, AR 72756, USA

The mild temperatures and rain that we have had this summer sure have made for some great produce at our local farmers markets, and we want to take full advantage of that. Please join us for an evening of fresh, local cooking with Heather Artripe of Ozark Natural Foods. She will be making some delicious southern summer recipes that will make your mouth water like a peach cobbler with salted bourbon caramel...mmmmm! All recipes are based on shopping locally at our Downtown Rogers Farmers Market to demonstrate how to make dishes with what you can find fresh and local. Each person will get to enjoy three different dishes and will also get copies of the recipes.

The Art of Drinking Chocolate

Honeycomb Kitchen Shop, 213 W Walnut St, Rogers, AR 72756, USA

Chocolate is a favorite among many, especially great quality chocolate. Why not learn how to enjoy it in so many other exciting ways! Join us along with Hello Cocoa for a night full of drink recipes that all feature....CHOCOLATE! Preston and Lauren will show us how to use it in everything from cocktails to teas and everything in between. Some portions of the class will be interactive so be ready to get your chocolate on! And to top it off, there will be a taste test between the decadent sipping chocolate and regular hot chocolate. Once you taste the difference, you will never drink that powdered stuff again. You will also get to hear the journey from bean to bar and learn about the process to produce some top notch chocolate!

Autumn in the Ozarks

Honeycomb Kitchen Shop, 213 W Walnut St, Rogers, AR 72756, USA

We are excited to announce our third installment of the cooking in the Ozark series with Chef Erin Rowe, Autumn in the Ozarks. If you missed the Spring or Summer in the Ozarks, then here is your chance to take one of these amazing classes. Hearty, fall dishes are what's on the menu, and we will be discussing cooking techniques as well as the history and importance of these dishes to the people in this area. This class will be a tribute to our Ozark communities as the featured recipes come from local places and areas like St. Joseph's Church and Cane Hill, which is Arkansas oldest settlement. Erin's cookbook, An Ozark Culinary History, is being released in early September and will be available for purchase at our shop.
